  • Develop and maintain buyer personas for federal, defense, and intelligence audiences (e.g., CIOs, CTOs, procurement officers, missions leads) and map those personas through the customer journey.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into mission-driven messaging that resonates with data and technology executives, procurement teams, and policymakers.
  • Ensure alignment across go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and communications initiatives.

Product & Content Marketing

  • Own the full federal product marketing lifecycle, from market research and positioning to sales enablement and competitive analysis.
  • Create targeted use cases, customer success stories, solution briefs, and thought leadership content tailored to defense, intelligence, and civilian missions.
  • Support capture and proposal teams with high-impact messaging and materials for RFP responses and executive briefings.
  • Partner with federal systems integrators, channel partners, and strategic alliances to co-develop messaging, campaigns and capture support.

  • Lead federal content marketing and campaign initiatives, including white papers, webinars, events, and editorial programs.
  • Collaborate with PR and Communications to position Ocient as a thought leader in data analytics for national security and government transformation.
  • Develop and execute demand generation campaigns designed to engage federal audiences and drive pipeline growth.

Metrics & KPIs

  • Drive marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline via high-quality lead generation and optimized opportunity conversion.
  • Develop and communicate campaign ROI metrics via campaign analytics dashboards within Ocient’s marketing automation tooling.
  • Meet or exceed campaign thresholds while maintaining on time delivery and staying on budget.

  • Up to 30% travel to industry conference, federal agency sites, and partner events.
  • Strong storytelling skills — ability to translate technical features into strategic mission outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience producing high-impact content for executive and technical audiences.

An Ideal Candidate will have:
