Salary: Base Salary: $175,000 to $255,000
             Estimated OTE: $235,000 to $315,000

Position Overview:
The Manager of Solutions Architecture will lead a team of worldwide, remote, solution architects who are the technical owners of every engagement in respect to; prospecting/lead generation, presentation, demonstration, requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, definition/deployment/execution of any pilot activities, and winning the deal. You will partner with account executives, customer solutions and project management to drive both customer and Ocient success.  

This position will also engage customer support, professional services, product management and engineering teams throughout the sales engagement process. The Manager of Solutions Architecture will be the tip of the spear to continue to drive new features, document and provide requirements to product management and engineering teams.

Responsibilities:
•    Hire, motivate, develop and manage a team of quality solution architects who are capable of enhancing Ocient's success, can gain customer confidence and promote the success of the Ocient sales organization
•    Manage technical assets with consideration for sales success, as well as financial effectiveness
•    Evangelize Ocient's vision and message both internally as well as externally to appropriate constituents
•    Review of resource utilization, planning for specialized coverage of all major sales activity areas and review of the resource matching process
•    Collaborate with regional sales directors to understand top deals in each region and knowledge share competitor intelligence insights, to refine sales messages and product value propositions. 
•    Accountable for driving sales pipelines and sizing top business development opportunities to unlock growth, as well as development of account strategy, high-level presentations, problem resolution, relationship development, and coordination of corporate resource involvement with the top prospects
•    Identify and highlight product innovation opportunities emerging from discussions with customers and effectively communicate customer needs and feedback to sales, engineering and product teams.  
•    Lead the team in developing technical sales accelerators and reusable intellectual capital (demos, workshops, blogs, white papers, etc.)
•    Initiate and manage multiple proofs of concepts, working directly with the prospect to deliver upon their success criteria
•    Enable the Sales team with effective trainings aimed at understanding the value that Ocient's products bring and being able to effectively communicate that value
•    Work with marketing to create compelling plays, collateral for campaigns and go-to-market strategies for the solution architect team 
•    Set direction for solution architecture within OcientTrack and deliver on business KPIs jointly with the account executives in each market 
•    Develop policy and procedures for solution architecture within Ocient

Qualifications:
•   15+ years of hands-on solutions architecture experience 
•    5+ years of people management 
•    Proven track record of designing and delivering solutions in the data warehousing and analytics space
•    Extensive experience with both cloud and on-prem deployment modalities
•    Extensive experience with OLAP, real-time analytics, and data warehousing in cloud and legacy systems
•    Extensive experience with ETL / ELT and SQL
•    Data engineering background is preferred
•    Working knowledge of AI and ML models is preferred 
•    Must be willing to travel
•    Must be a team player and self-starter with strong technical leadership, business acumen and interpersonal skills
•    Strong writing and presentation skills, including writing treatments, story/talking points, and narratives to guide content development
•    Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking ability
•    Ability to collaborate with customers, investors, technical subject matter experts, executive leadership, and creative partners to seamlessly integrate and draw from diverse skill sets
