Position Overview :
The Director of Growth Marketing will be responsible for building and leading Ocient’s global growth marketing strategy and execution. This leader will own demand generation, account-based marketing (ABM), regional programs, and event marketing to drive pipeline and revenue growth worldwide. Reporting to the VP of Marketing & Business Development, the Director will work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Executive leadership to build a scalable “engine for growth” that engages decision-makers, accelerates opportunities, and deepens Ocient’s presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities:

Global Demand Generation: Lead strategy and execution for multi-channel campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline across all regions.

Account-Based Marketing: Design and deliver ABM programs targeting high-value accounts and senior-level client-side executives, leveraging both digital and field marketing tactics.

Regional/Field & Event Marketing: Partner with regional sales teams to design and execute localized programs, including executive events, trade shows, and customer summits. Provide strategic oversight for the field and events team, ensuring events are impactful, well-executed, and pipeline driven.

Digital Marketing: Oversee performance across paid, owned, and earned channels, continuously optimizing campaigns to deliver measurable ROI.

AI-Driven Personalization & Scale: Leverage modern AI tools and marketing automation to build personalized, segmented campaigns that scale across target audiences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales leadership to ensure tight alignment on pipeline objectives, with the Content Strategy team to develop impactful campaign assets, and with the Product team to ensure campaigns reflect product capabilities, use cases, and customer value.

Marketing Technology & Operations: Stay on top of best practices in MarTech and analytics while working closely with Ocient’s Senior Manager, Marketing Operations and Sales Operations to optimize the marketing tech stack, ensure data integrity, and deliver accurate reporting and attribution.

Pipeline Forecasting & Reporting: Partner with Sales Ops/RevOps to define success metrics, track pipeline and revenue contribution, and provide executive-level reporting on performance.

Customer Lifecycle Marketing: Collaborate across Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to design strategies that not only drive acquisition but also nurture existing customers, support expansion, and improve retention.

Budget Ownership: Manage and allocate the growth marketing budget effectively, balancing short-term pipeline needs with long-term brand investment.

Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing growth marketing team to execute globally with excellence.

Development of a scalable, data-driven marketing engine that supports long-term growth.
Qualifications:
-
10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 5 years leading demand generation, ABM, and/or event marketing functions in enterprise technology or data infrastructure markets.

Proven success building and scaling global demand generation engines that directly drive pipeline and revenue.

Expertise in ABM strategy and execution, with experience targeting C-level and senior executives at enterprise accounts.

Strong command of digital marketing channels (paid search, paid social, display, email, SEO, web) and the analytics required to measure and optimize them.

Experience leading or closely managing event marketing programs (e.g., trade shows, executive roundtables, customer summits), with the ability to guide teams on event strategy, execution, and measurement.

Familiarity with modern AI marketing tools, personalization engines, and marketing automation platforms.

Fluency in marketing and sales data, funnel metrics, and campaign attribution with a testing/optimization mindset.

Experience collaborating with Marketing Operations and Sales Operations teams to align on data, processes, and reporting.

Demonstrated global marketing experience, with an understanding of regional nuances and regulatory requirements.

Experience working with Product teams to translate product capabilities, roadmap, and customer feedback into compelling marketing campaigns.

Strategic thinker with a hands-on execution mindset; comfortable operating in both high-level planning and tactical detail.

Executive presence with strong communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.

Proven experience hiring, managing, and developing diverse, high-performing global teams.

Prior exposure to data infrastructure, enterprise SaaS, or AI-driven technology markets.
